This training equips leaders with the professional coaching skills they need to empower their teams and get out of the weeds. This is one of the most important shifts a leader can make to develop their team of individual contributors into strategic leaders. We’ll dive into how to frame up a coaching conversation, what the flow of the conversation looks like, what kinds of questions to ask and ultimately how to create action and commitment coming out of each session.

Following the Coaching Skills for Leaders training, this session reviews the key principles of professional coaching and provide space for leaders to practice skills in a safe, supportive environment. They will receive a live coaching demo by Kristiana Corona, small group coaching practice, group discussion and Q&A. Participants will leave with more confidence and actionable insights to build their coaching skills on the job.

Pre-work required:
Participants will utilize the 15 Minute Coaching Framework Guide from the last training session to have at least 3-4 coaching conversations with their direct reports ahead of this workshop.

In this workshop leaders will learn how to use tactical empathy, mirroring, and other effective negotiation techniques that will take their influence skills to the next level. Whether leaders are gaining buy-in for a new idea, pushing back on unrealistic demands or building confidence in executive boardrooms, these skills will help them to be heard in a whole new way.

Connecting with Purpose

Making meaningful connections at work is a powerful way to improve your health, your happiness and overall well being. We’ll look at connection from 3 different lenses: Starting with Self, Interacting with Others and Connecting with Purpose. As we dive into each category, we’ll uncover what kinds of connections give us energy, where we have blockers in connecting with others and how we can foster belonging as we align to a goal or purpose bigger than ourselves. At the end, we’ll fill out “Connection Commitment” cards that outline our intentions for the year and how we’ll hold ourselves accountable.
